Welcome! There are so many people dying of starvation and disease in Africa. They have no one to help them no one to love them, a lot of them don't even know about God! How sad! There are people and families, today, at this very moment who haven't eaten in days or weeks, and they have no way of buying or getting any food. We at Youth with a Heart (cooperating with Hearth to Hearth Ministries) are trying to do just a little to stop the suffering that is going on in Africa. With all of our combined efforts we can make a difference in a family facing starvation! If you would like to help there are several ways you can do so. You can help by: giving a donation, sponsoring a child or family, or join our group 'Youth with a Heart' (YAWH). YWAH is a group desiring to help the needs in Africa by giving what he/she can every month even if it's only a few dollars. Please contact us and we will be glad to answer any of your questions. Just a suggestion, you may think you don't have any funds to give, but just think of how many things we buy and spend our money on that we really don't need. Set a jar or a piggy-bank aside and every time you are tempted to spend money on something you don't need, set the money aside that you would have spent and give it to the widows and orphans. You may wonder if the money that you give is actually getting to the people. Yes, it is. Every one of the administrators are volunteering their services. To sponsor a child or family please go to Hearth to Hearth or to page 11 of one of the newsletters Spotlight on Orphans. May you be touched with a heart to help with these physical needs, as well as to spread the word of God to others, and give hope to those that don't have any. If you have any suggestions to make, as to how we can help more or raise funds to send to Africa we'd be glad to hear what you have to say. Remember that what you do you are doing it as unto Jesus, for he said in Matthew 25:35-40 "For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me." A heart to serve the Lord, A heart to help those in need, A heart to spread His word. ~ |
